Windows CE (WinCE) is an open, scalable, 32-bit operating system that is designed to meet the needs of a broad range of intelligent devices. These devices range from enterprise tools, such as industrial controllers, communications hubs, and point-of-sale terminals to consumer products such as cameras, telephones, and home entertainment devices. Compared with general Windows systems, WinCE meets the required features – compact kernel, customization, portability and real-time for embedded devices. Moreover, WinCE system can be run on hardware platform more reliably and provide higher compatibility in the development interface of Win32 API.
Windows XP Embedded – Available on MT600 X Series Only
